Arwa Ahmed is a rising senior at George Mason University, majoring in Global Affairs with concentrations in International & Economic Development and a minor in Nonprofit Studies. Her plans after graduation are to apply to the Peace Corps and later go to grad school to obtain her masters in Economics with a focus on the developing world. She originates from Cairo, Egypt and hopes to one day work on minority rights and economic development in impoverished communities in the Middle East. Here at HANDS, Arwa has been working on planning our fall benefit dinner, an upcoming Egyptian American Dialogue and other events.
