Alice Rogers is a rising junior at Amherst College with a double major in French and Political Science, focusing on international relations. In her free time, she is passionate about music. She serves as vice president of Amherst’s concert choir, and she is also a classical pianist. Prior to joining HANDS, Alice held positions at a business litigation firm and a nonprofit that facilitates international education and exchange programs. She has also served in a few volunteer positions, most recently at a COVID-19 emergency food distribution clinic. Alice is passionate about building relationships between Americans and other citizens from around the world, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa. Through her internship at HANDS, she is looking forward to increasing her understanding of Egyptian culture and contributing to HANDS’s mission of cross-cultural relationship building and support of marginalized groups.
