Brendan Lawlor is a sophomore at American University in Washington, D.C., where he majors in political science with a concentration in comparative politics. At American, he is also pursuing a double-minor in international relations and public policy. He is planning to pursue a master’s degree in international development or a PhD in political science after working with the Peace Corps after graduation. In the future, he imagines himself with a career in the thinktank or NGO world, where he can be a progenitor of domestic or international beneficial change. He is excited to intern with HANDs during the Spring 2021 semester.
