Armya Saad is a recent graduate of The City College of New York, Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International Studies (concentration in International Relations) and Economics. Born and raised in Egypt, Armya brings a global perspective to his work and is passionate about international development and cross-cultural exchange.
Through his studies and professional experiences, he has gained skills in policy research, fundraising, and community development through roles with the U.S. House of Representatives, Hands Along the Nile, and other nonprofit organizations. Armya was drawn to Hands Along the Nile’s mission of fostering partnerships between Americans and Egyptians, seeing it as a unique opportunity to combine his academic background and cultural roots in support of sustainable development and stronger cross-cultural understanding. His professional interests include economic development, nonprofit management, and building connections between the United States and the Middle East.
