Baxter Katz, from Los Angeles, California, is a junior, studying International Relations at American University in Washington DC. Baxter is interested in the Middle East and East Asia, previously having worked and studied in Taiwan and China. He’s interested in studying the intersection of agricultural, economic development, and history. He also has a particular interest in water issues both globally as well as in his home state of California. At HANDS, he is assisting in research and development for agriculture related projects that HANDS is planning to implement.
