Before Nourah lost her husband, her family was barely making ends meet. After she was left alone with three young children, she was struggling to find work to feed her family. When she heard about the micro-farms program, she realized there was a way to feed her children and earn an income. When she was accepted to the program, she began by attending a sheep-raising training program, learning about breeding, feeding, and diseases for sheep. She then received her sheep and took good care of them with the help of the veterinary services and feed provided by the program. She got two more sheep and could feed her children and earn an income. Without the start-up help that the program assisted her with, Nourah would not have been able to start over. Now she can provide her children with a safer and healthier life.

I feel better about myself, about my whole life and even my mental health. We now have two healthy rams. We started from scratch, and now own four sheep. They will start mating soon. I am also thinking about making additional income by producing some dairy. I have one request for you – please replicate this project as many poor housewives need this project to help them bring up their children.”
