Please join us for a benefit brunch to celebrate the transformations that are happening in underserved Egyptian communities thanks to your generosity.
Our Los Angeles-area event will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1 pm at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel (700 W Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802). You can purchase tickets for this event here.
Please join HANDS for a memorable morning that will include:
- a silent auction of Egyptian handicrafts and other items donated by local businesses
- a conversation with Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki, President of our largest partner organization, CEOSS, which serves over 4000 Egyptians every year. Dr. Zaki is also the President of the Protestant Churches of Egypt.
- an interview with Dr. Yvonne Fanous, who will be accepting our Egyptian-American Changemaker Award!
This event will support HANDS’ entrepreneurship training for female artisans in Upper Egypt. This program helps women in impoverished areas of Upper Egypt, turn their craft skills in marketable small businesses. As they develop their business acumen in areas like marketing, distribution, and quality control, these women can help support their households and even create jobs for others in their communities.
We hope you will join us in celebrating what has already been accomplished and in supporting a new round of training for enterprising women in Upper Egypt!
