For over 25 years and I have enjoyed teaching all language levels and helping students of different ages, as well as mid and high-level professionals, ambassadors and businesspeople, master their Arabic skills.

I studied Arabic literature and grammar and presented papers at language conferences on language methodology. I am the author of five volumes on colloquial Egyptian Arabic and six books on modern standard Arabic. My “Kallimni ‘Arabi” series, for example, is widely used as a favorite teaching resource by many institutions and teaching professionals.

My tailor-made courses use files, books, and teaching aids to deliver the target language to students. In my free time, I enjoy reading literature, singing classic songs, and giving lectures about women’s rights.

JIHAD AHMED

I’m Gihad. I majored in English literature & the English language. Additionally, I got a general diploma in education.

Back in 2018, I started teaching the Egyptian dialect at HANDS. Being a member of the early team allowed me to experience teaching a wide range of students spanning all age groups and different cultural, professional, and educational backgrounds.

I’m offering you a personalized class full of fun based on what interests you the most, be it music, movies or TV shows. I will enjoy helping you understand and sing the songs you like. We will pick lines from hit Egyptian movies to get you familiar with the culture and help you interact more with native speakers. The materials for the classes will be continuously updated by us to meet your language goals.  During your learning journey, we’ll gradually reduce the amount of English spoken in class and aim towards using Arabic mostly, as our long-term target.

A bit about me: I love reading books about changing mindset and its’ psychology. I watch movies and enjoy talking about them. I spend my free time writing or working on my podcast on Anchor. Come check me out!
